Easter

The Friday before Easter, the day Jesus Christ was resurrected, commemorates His Crucifixion. It is a day of sorrow, penance, and fasting. It is as the Germans would like to put, a ‘Karfreitag’ (Sorrowful Friday).

But it is also a day of anticipation, an affirmation of hope and faith, of beliefs and convictions. Because, the day after will occur an event that will obliterate this sorrow and suffering; and will rejuvenate and revitalise our body and soul.

This is a day for remembrance and retrospection and imbibe wholeheartedly what one of the greatest messengers of God has given us – love, compassion, sense of jjservice!

Easter, therefore, is a celebration of hope and love, of brotherhood and exalted benignity , of compassion and kindness; and above all, commemoration of a son and messenger of God who through his conduct and message created a religious movement unsurpassed in human history.

Wishing you, your families, your friends a Happy and Joyous Easter!
