Rejuvenation

Orange buds have appeared

On the once barren branches

Hundreds of them

Heralding rejuvenation, ushering in

Spring of Nascence

It has been months

Of endurance and penance

Of wait and patience

Of cold days and chilling nights

Of icy winds and waning sunshine!

And they have done this

Year after year

Season after season

And yet have demonstrated a will,

A resilience continuous, uncommon!

Why are Humans so different?

Why they wilt and wither

Why adversities break them?

Waylay them, drown them in delusion

Yet they are God’s best creation!
